Goal
This guide goes through how to upload and manage documents in Resvu
Before you get started
To upload documents directly into Resvu, navigate to:
Settings ➡️ Admins ➡️ Edit your chosen admin ➡️ Select roles & permissions ➡️ Scroll down to Documents ➡️ Expand Documents and ensure that "Active, Internal, Archived" and "Category Tags" have full access selected.

Upload Documents Directly into Resvu
Step 1 - Let's begin
Login to the admin portal and select Documents
Step 2 - Manage Categories
A document must have a category associated with it, to view the Categories click on the Manage Categories button
Note: The Manage Categories button is only for categories where you will be uploading documents directly into Resvu, to change the API Imported categories you will need to do that in Settings ➡️ Integrations ➡️ Document settings
If your category exists proceed to step 3, otherwise click the add category button and add your category to the list
Once you have entered your category click save
Step 3 - Upload a document
To upload a document click on the upload button in the top right
Either drag and drop your document or browse your files and select your document and click next
Step 4 - Add details
Once you have selected your document you will then need to add details about the document
Community Permissions: What communities will have access to the document, you can select a single community or multiple communities
User Permissions: What user types will have access to the document, you can select a single user type or multiple user types
Owner Occupier
Owner Investor
Tenant
Committee (All committee members under a community)
Property manager
Other
Groups (A specific group of residents under a community)
Committee Groups (A specific group of committee members under a community)
Assign Category tags: What categories will be associated with the document, you can select a single category or multiple categories
Once complete press upload and the document will appear under documents
Internal documents
Documents get sent to the internal tab when no user permissions are selected when uploading or editing a document.
It will then appear under Documents➡️ Internal
Archived Documents
Archive a single document
To archive a document go to Documents, Click the 3 dots and Click Archive
Archive multiple documents
To archive multiple documents go to Documents, select your documents, then click the 3 dots above the table and Click Archive
