Connecting PropertyIQ API

How to setup your integration

Goal

This guide will walk you through setting up the connection between PropertyIQ (PIQ) and resvu.

Prerequisites

There are some things you need to have before progressing with this guide. You will need to reach out to your support team from either accounting software to obtain these things; we cannot provide them for you.

  1. PropertyIQ (PIQ)

    1. Base URL

    2. Client secret

    3. Client ID

Before you get started

You will need to have the correct permissions set in order to integrate your platforms. To check this, navigate to:

Settings ➡️ Admins ➡️ Edit your chosen admin ➡️ Select roles & permissions ➡️ Scroll down to access detail ➡️ Expand account and ensure that integrations have full access selected.

Integrating your platforms

Step 1 - Let's begin

Once you have completed your prerequisites above, login to the admin portal and select settings, then integrations. Look for your chosen platform under available platforms and click on it.

If no platform or the wrong one is appearing here, then click on the help icon in the lower right hand of the screen to speak with our support team.

Step 2 - Enter in the details

Here you will see the fields to enter in the prerequisite information you have already collected.

Please enter the base URL, client secret and client ID into the right fields and click Save. This will initiate the connection between resvu and PropertyIQ.

Step 3 - Conclusion

You should now see the obfuscated prerequisite details, along with date you initiated the connection - there should also be a green label reading Connected to indicate that this connection is now active and working.

There is also an edit button should your details change, and you need to rectify these.
