JACmedia Setup Digital Display Integration

Goal

This article explains how to connect a community's JACmedia digital display to the resvu platform. Once set up, any Alert or Notice you choose to send to the digital display will appear on the JACmedia screen in the community lobby or common area in real time β€” no separate login to JACmedia required.

How it works

resvu generates a signage URL per community. JACmedia uses this URL to display approved content on the screen.

Setting Up a Community's Digital Display

Complete this setup once for each community that has a JACmedia digital display. Once done, the signage URL is sent to JACmedia and does not change.

Step 1 - Open the Community

In the left navigation menu, click Settings > Communities > Click the View icon on the right side of the row.

Step 2 - Enable the Digital Display

Then Click the Edit button (pencil icon, top right of the community detail page).

Scroll down the community edit form to the Digital display screen section and toggle on Digital display screen.

Click Save

Step 3 - Copy the Signage URL

Click Copy signage URL. This copies a unique URL for this community's digital display to your clipboard.

Step 4 - Send the Signage URL to JACmedia

Send the copied URL to JACmedia at [email protected]. JACmedia will programme this URL into the digital display. No further setup is required on the resvu side.

Note: The signage URL is unique per community and does not expire. Keep it on file in case JACmedia ever needs it again.

Once complete, the digital display is connected to resvu. Any Alert or Notice you choose to send to the display will appear on screen automatically.
