The Outlook add-in for resvu makes it easy to turn emails into actionable requests without leaving your inbox. Designed to fit seamlessly into your workflow, the add-in allows you to capture important information, select the right community and workflow template, and submit directly to resvu in just a few clicks. This saves time, reduces manual entry, and ensures nothing gets lost between email and your admin console.
Getting started
Now that you’ve downloaded the add-in, let’s get started.
Step 1.
When viewing an email in Outlook, open the resvu add-in and enter your workspace URL (e.g. resvustrata), then log in with your resvu account credentials.
Note: this step is only required for the initial setup.
Step 2.
Select new request
Step 3.
Enter the relevant community and workflow template details and follow the prompts to create a new request.
You can also drag the email from your Outlook inbox into attachments to file the original email record. Note: this step is currently only supported in the old Outlook desktop app and not in the new desktop app or web version.
Once submitted, you can view the request in the admin console, create a new request, or return to the home screen.
