How to track visitor access and security logs

Goal

This article shows you how you can log the details of anyone that visits the community.

Before you get started

You will need to have the correct permissions set in order to add deliveries. To check this, navigate to:

Settings ➡️ Admins ➡️ Edit your chosen admin ➡️ Select Roles & Permissions ➡️ Scroll down to Concierge ➡️ Expand Concierge and ensure that Visit log has full access selected.

Adding a visitor log

Step 1 - Let's begin

Login to the admin console and navigate to Concierge ➡️ Visit log. Here you will be presented with two tabs, one for active visitor log and another for archived ones.

Step 2 - Add a visitor log

Click on the New visitor button in the top right of the screen

Then enter in the following details about the log

  1. Community*

  2. Check in*

  3. Check out (Only done when the Visitor is leaving)

  4. Purpose of visiting*

  5. Lot number*

  6. Description

Step 3 - Add visitor information

Once the details about the visit have been added, enter in the information about the Visitor

  1. Name*

  2. Email

  3. Phone number

  4. Company*

  5. position

  6. Access key

Step 5 - Save

Scroll up to the top and press save

Viewing visitor log

Login to the admin console and navigate to Concierge ➡️ Visit Log. Here you will be presented with two tabs, one for active visitor log and another for archived ones.

Selecting a community will then display all the visitor logs for that community

Checking out a visitor

Login to the admin console and navigate to Concierge ➡️ Deliveries . Here you will be presented with two tabs, one for active visitor log and another for archived ones. Make sure the active tab is selected

Then click the check out icon

Enter in the time the visitor checked out

The log will then appear in the archived tab

Archiving a Visitor log

Login to the admin console and navigate to Concierge ➡️ Visit log. Here you will be presented with two tabs, one for active deliveries and another for archived ones.

Selecting a community will then display all the visitor logs for that community

Then click the archive button, that will move the visitor log to the archived tab

Upload visitor logs via CSV

Step 1 - Lets begin

To upload visitor logs via CSV, login to the admin console and navigate to Concierge ➡️ Visit log.

Then click on the upload visitor logs

Step 2 - Download the template

Download the visitor log template if required and populate the template with all the visitor logs you wish to upload into Resvu

Step 3 - Upload the file

Select which community you want to upload the visitor logs and then upload the visitor log file

Press Confirm and the visitor logs will be uploaded for that community
