Goal

Learn how to quickly resend a welcome email to residents whose activation link has expired. This ensures residents can access the platform without creating a new account.

Before You Get Started

You will need to have the correct permissions set in order to resend a welcome email. To check this, navigate to:

Settings ➡️ Admins ➡️ Edit your chosen admin ➡️ Select Roles & Permissions ➡️ Scroll down to Residents ➡️ Expand Residents and ensure that Full Access is selected.

Accessing the Residents Feature

Step 1 - Open the Residents Page

From the main menu, go to the Community section and select Residents, then Users.

Step 2 - Apply the Activation Expired Filter

Use the filters to display only residents with the Activation Expired status.

Step 3 - Select All Residents in the List

Once filtered, select the page of results in the top left of the table. Then click on Select All Users to include everyone shown.

Step 4 - Resend the Invitation

Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner. Select Re-send Invitation.
This will send a new welcome email to all selected residents.

Managing the Pending Activation Status

Understand the Status Change

After resending, residents will move to Pending Activation status.

Monitor the Expiry Window

Pending Activation lasts for 7 days. If a resident does not activate within this time, their status will automatically return to Activation Expired.

Repeat as Needed

Repeat this process weekly to enable residents to setup their account
